This is just a quick form that lists the current, pending and past tasks that I have documented and in my work queue. Items get added to this list by user feedback and suggestions as well as from my own thoughts on what needs to 'improve' on the site. Drop me an email if you have questions or suggestions. Thank you!

1/1/2010Silverlight for Submission Image previewsReplace the Javascript driven Image Preview to use Silverlight and make a more flexible interface for zooming and panning from the client side.
1/28/2010Member commenting for 'Tasks'Allow members to comment in a Blog Fashion on any currently open Development Task
1/28/2010Member submissions for 'Tasks'Allow members to make Task/Feature suggestions directly via IPSND interface.
1/28/2010Ability for members to submit site backgroundsIt would be nice if members could submit their own backgrounds for the site. This would allow the number of backgrounds to grow significantly. Members should be given credit for their submissions by being awarded additional points, plus their member info show somehow on the background image.
1/28/2010Ability for members to customize site SkinMembers should be able to select the default Telerik skin used for all controls in their preferences.
1/28/2010Adjust SerialBot ScoringMake the SerialBot scoring routine analyse games for 'UserDefinedFields' and provide additional points for submissions that provide data for the game fields. There is some space for interpretation on how this should work because I could give additional points for *each* custom field submitted, or perhaps, just give 1 extra point if any custom field data is submitted. I suppose however, that it should actually only give an additional point if *all* the fields are submitted as this would encourage people to go back and update their old submissions as new fields are added.
6/13/2010Member Private MessagingAllow members to send private messages to other members without directly sharing any email addresses. Members should be able to opt-out of allowing private messages to be sent to them.
9/20/2010Admin Interface for TasksAdmins should be able to manage the Tasks table directly through the main web interface.
9/20/2010Member Trait WatchingMembers should be able to watch traits or games in their MyIPSND page so they can easily see the data they are most interested in.
10/5/2010Game Traits Serial SorterThe Game Traits table currently doesn't sort very accurately due to a design flaw. Update the GameTraits code to use LINQ rather than Stored Procedures so the sorting can be done in C#.

1/1/2010Serial Mask EditorCreate an web interface to the Serial Mask defintions for each game to allow site administrators to add/edid/update serial masks for any game in the database.Jess1/5/20101/28/2010
1/1/2010Submission Form and Serial MasksUtilize the serial mask for a game on the submission form so that as a user enters the serial number, the number is compared against any known masks and alerts the user directly in the submission form, before they submit the serial. This should help minimize 'double' submissions by users that only after submission, see that their serial doesn't explicitly match the masks, so they resubmit rather than editing (not members).Jess2/5/20106/13/2010
1/1/2010Admin Interface for 'Tips'Allow site administrators the ability to add/edit/delete the 'Did you Know' tips on the front page.Jess2/5/20106/14/2010
1/28/2010Public Interface for 'Tasks'Allow all visitors to the site to see the current 'Task' listing in a standard grid.Jess2/1/20102/4/2010
1/28/2010Default ButtonsOn pages that have more than one form and submit buttons, the behavior is inconsistent between browsers when the user hits the enter key on which form is submitted. This causes problems specifically on the login control in that the user has to click the 'Login' button rather than just hitting enter on the keyboard.Jess1/1/20102/5/2010
